About me, my art and my thought processes really. Probably, it will end up as a collection of ramblings...

Victorian themed ATCs. The first one is a photo of Queen Victoria - it doesn't get more victorian than that!! The other two cards both use William Morris designs for the backing papers. The button on the final card to me was reminiscent of Whitby jet, which again has very victorian connotations.
This blog will be a collection of ramblings, along with descriptions and photos of some of the craft stuff I've been getting up to. I love crafting - papercrafting, jewellery making, cross stitching, altered art, atc's - you name it, I'll give it a go. I guess you could describe me as being something of a craft butterfly :)
I live in gorgeous West Wales, right on the coast - from my bedroom, I can look out over the sea. Home is Victorian cocklers cottage in a tiny village on top of a hill. Cockling was a huge industry here in the early part of the 20th century, there are still cockle beds locally, but generally they are harvested by pickers from Liverpool, which is a shame, but I suppose that's the way of the world these days. The other great love of my life is History, and I'm really chuffed to have been offered a place to study for an MA in Local History at Trinity College, Carmarthen. I'm so excited about it, I really can't wait for term to start. It's been a long time since I was in education, but I'm really looking forward to the chance to give my brain a bit of a workout.
